What Social Scout does
Social Scout watches public posts on Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn for keywords you choose, and reports the matches to you by push notification and Slack. We only surface public posts, we never post, reply, like or message on your behalf.
Your account
Keep your login details safe and tell us quickly if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for the keywords you choose to monitor and for how you use the mentions we surface.
Fair use
- Don't use Social Scout to harass, stalk or target individuals.
- Don't resell, scrape or redistribute the raw monitoring data.
- Respect each platform's rules and the privacy of the people behind the posts.
Accounts that break these rules may be paused or closed.
Subscriptions and billing
Plans are priced in naira and billed monthly. Your first 3 days are free. You can cancel at any time before your next billing date; cancellation stops future charges. Where refunds apply under Nigerian consumer law, we will honour them.
Service availability
We work hard to keep monitoring running around the clock, but we can't promise the service will be perfect or uninterrupted. Social Scout is provided "as is", and we are not liable for missed posts, lost profits or business decisions made from monitoring results.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product grows. When a change is significant, we'll notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Social Scout after a change means you accept it.
